Amidst all the attention that manufacturers such as Viking and Wolf garner, the Thermador Pro Harmony series of professional gas and dual fuel ranges should seriously be considered. The Pro Harmony series was introduced a few years ago and simply does not receive the attention (undeservedly) it should, especially when you consider price points and the features you receive in the package.

The original Thermador series of ranges is called the Pro Grand, and they are quite a sight to behold. Boasting a bullhead nose which extends slightly past cabinet depth, sexy blue lighting and a stylish temperature gauge centered on the front, the Pro Grand series sets the standard for aesthetics in the pro range category. However, with prices ranging from $5100 to over $9000, the Pro Grand may not be a fit for many budgets, even those who aspire to a pro kitchen.

So Thermador decided to strip the Pro Grand a bit, removing the self-clean feature from the all-gas range, removing the temperature gauge in the front and slightly lowered the oven capacity as they made the Pro Harmony 24″ deep so as to be flush with cabinetry to create a more seamless look. The result is a range, varying from 30″ up to 48″ (only in dual fuel) which still offers the self-clean mode in the dual fuel version.

Here are the Pro Harmony models with Thermador's UMRP mandated prices.
