If you are thinking of changing a new mattress, you should choose one that can support your whole body without putting any strain on your pressure points. Natural latex is made from about 95% natural rubber. The rest is curing and vulcanization factors like sodium and zinc oxide. Chemicals are washed out in the final production process stages so you will get a 99% natural rubber mattress. A natural and organic latex mattress will last up to twenty five years and it can reduce shoulder, neck and back pain and improve the quality of your sleep.

Another type of mattress that will conform to your body natural position is the memory foam mattress. Memory foam is made of millions of open cells, which are like balloons with holes in. The air moves between the open cells, allowing the foam to support you, relieve pressure points and contour around your individual body shape.

Which one should I choose?

There is not a clear cut answer, when looking at latex mattress vs memory foam mattress because both are very high quality products.

Natural latex also has an open-cell structure, which means it bounces back into shape when you change position or get off the bed. This structure also allows the air to circulate around you, keeping you warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

If your budget allows, you may want to consider an organic latex mattress because it is made of natural materials and it is hypoallergenic. This allows you to achieve better heath and you do not need to worry about petroleum based chemicals and harmful chemicals that may be present in some conventional mattress.

Choosing a mattresses is largely down to personal opinion. Both types of mattress come in different sizes and different firmness. Some people would never want anything except a memory foam and others would not swap their latex foam mattress for any other.
