What is the home design of your dreams? While each may have a different version of the palace they would call their ideal home, all would have a certain number of facilities and appliances, spaciousness, lighting and ventilation for a good life. A swimming pool, a rock garden and a patio, an auditorium and a garage are some of the facilities we could think of in addition to well-designed living and bedrooms, kitchens and bathrooms in addition to electronics and office facilities. A basement and an attic could provide additional storage space and an extensive backward and garden area would permit hobbies like flower and kitchen gardening.

The security aspect besides regular power and water supply are essential for a successful and modern life that needs to be productive. Many office-cum-residences have been making it big, convenient, without the need to travel every day and get exposed to pollution and danger. Besides, time and money are saved each time to devote to work.

Renovations, extensions and refurbishments

While not everybody is fortunate to live in a fabulous dream home, perhaps on a 4000 square foot area that comprises two or three stories, adjustments could be made to the existing set up and the best facilities possible arranged. Partial demolition may be necessary and additions built, doors and windows modernized, and boundary walls made taller with heightened security needs. Identify what is really lacking like an additional bedroom, a second bathroom and a garage. Besides the functional aspect, perhaps beautification is lacking and a patio or rock garden could attract, along with an arched entrance way.

At a glance

While deciding the value of a home and its attractiveness or sale potential, buyers look for facilities, a strong structure and layout plan, along with natural and artificial lighting. Neutral colors with a variety of textures and patterns bring aesthetic values. Externally, plants and foliage or spaces available for that purpose should be found.

An inspiring home vision

Modern open plan layouts dramatically place the living and dining areas adjacent to each other. Though no walls or curtains separate them, the color scheme and the furniture indicate which is which. A chandelier above the glass-topped dining table would set the mood. A vertical garden along the dining space could bring fresh greenery.

The kitchen becomes the heart of the residence

Along with a dramatic multipurpose kitchen island, the cabinets and steel appliances along with the lighting in layers dispel stress. What else would you add to the ideal home?
