With a storage capacity of 52 cubic feet, it gives you tons of space for lawn and garden tools, trimmers, and other outdoor items.

The Rubbermaid 3746 is very to assemble, and assembly time can range from 15 to 20 minutes. Whilst no tools are particularly needed to assemble it, a rubber mallet might come in handy to tap the various parts into place.

Just like the Rubbermaid 3753 and the Rubbermaid 3749, this shed is constructed from high-density polyethylene or HDPE which makes it hard to crack, peel, or chip. It also does not rot or rust.

Provision is made on the Rubbermaid 3746 to insert custom made shelves through molded in grooves in the sides of the panels.

Shelving

The Rubbermaid 3746 does not come equipped with shelves but can accommodate custom-made shelves. The assembly instructions provides a pattern and dimensions for cutting your own shelves. Standard wooden shelving boards work fine. Just notch the back corners to ensure that it fits correctly. For best results you might want to use weather resistant materials.

Assembly

Assembly is quick and easy and can be done in as little as 15 minutes. Assembly can become a nightmare if you do not follow the instructions properly.

It is crucial with this shed that you have a solid, stable level base, whether it be paving stones or concrete when assembling.

It is not a good idea to assemble it in one place and carry it to where you want it to be as any twisting motion unlocks one or more tabs. The unit is sturdy once assembled correctly.

There are two spots in the back that you can drill through to fasten the shed to a solid surface like a wall or a fence.

Should the shed feel too flimsy a good idea would be cut little holes in the walls and fill with sand. This will add weight to the shed. It can also be secured to the ground by drilling in four floor locations and inserting stakes into the ground.
